Green salad grown in hothouses is full of pesticides, watchdog

The Consumer Protection Agency examined a number of samples of green salad grown in hothouses and determined that the content of pesticides in this is four times higher than the admissible level, IPN reports.

The specialists warn the population to be precautious as the consumption of products with a high level of pesticides leads to poisoning and serious liver and immune disorders.

The Agency informs the producers and traders that the agrifood products can be tested in labs.
