“Zinaida Greceanyi is one of the ruling alliance’s candidates for the presidency. Commenting on the Liberal leader’s assertion that the Liberals will never vote for Zinaida Greceanyi, Mark Tkachuk said that Mihai Ghimpu changes his opinion every day. “Yesterday he said they would not vote, but ask him now to see his opinion,” said Mark Tkachuk. He also said that the Communist Party does not yet have a candidate for the November 18 elections. Earlier, Igor Dodon, who left the PCRM on November 4, said it is Mark Tkachuk who actually manages the party and even decides Vladimir Voronin’s schedule. He also said that Mark Tkachuk controls half of the members of the Communist parliamentary group through the people he promoted on electoral lists. No candidate for the presidency has been registered so far. November 14 is the last day when applications can be filed.
