The Greceanyi Government II could come together for the last meeting by August 26 to officially tender the resignation. “No decision has been made yet. The Prime Minister is on a trip,” the councilor of the Government’s Apparatus Constantin Neaga told Info-Prim Neo on Thursday. Asked if the executive will declare August 28 a nonworking day, Constantin Neaga said it will not. “August 28 will remain a workday, especially because the new Parliament was convened for the first meeting on this day,” he said. If the Government declared August 28 a nonworking day, the employees would have a five-day vacation as they will not work on the Republic’s Day marked on August 27 and on the Our Language Day celebrated on August 31 and will have the weekend between them. Asked when the salaried employees will work for July 29, which was declared nonworking day as there were held parliamentary elections, Constantin Neaga said that such a decision will be taken by the new Government. From August 14, when the Constitutional Court validated the elections, and until a new cabinet is appointed, the Greceanyi Government II will manage only the public affairs, but will not take decisions and will not issue ordinances.
