Govt. okays deputation to join premier to Bucharest

The Cabinet endorsed the deputation to be headed by Prime-Minister Zinaida Greceanai to Bucharest on October 23, Info-Prim Neo reports. Members of the delegation are Economy Minister Igor Dodon, the Moldovan chairman of the Moldo-Romanian commission for economic cooperation and European integration; Eugenia Kistruga, deputy foreign minister; Lidia Gutu, the Moldovan Ambassador to Bucharest; Ion Chicu, state advisor; and Veaceslav Cebotari, bilateral cooperation director within the Foreign Ministry. The premier will meet Romanian officials and will attend the 4th session of of the inter-governmental commission to run from October 22 to 23. The Government adopted the Moldovan members of the commission: Igor Dodon, Eugenia Kistruga, Lidia Gutu, and Environment Minister Violeta Ivanov, deputy Agriculture Minister Anatol Spivacenco, Customs Service chief Viorel Melnic, deputy chairwoman of the Science Academy Mariana Slapac, chairman of the Moldova Stock Exchange Cornel Dodu, etc. The discussions in the commission will mainly focus on cooperation in trade, industry and energy, medium and small enterprises, agriculture, sanitation, veterinary and safety of food, etc.
