Acting Prime Minister Aureliu Ciocoi said the outgoing Government will do its utmost to transfer the sum of 22.46 million lei to the Central Election Commission by July 11 or immediately after the election day. “I officially guarantee that the CEC will get the overdue amount either before or after the elections. I announce another attempt to convene a meeting of the Government for the afternoon of July 9,” Aureliu Ciocoi stated after the meeting set for July 7 could not take place as the quorum was not present, IPN reports.

Only two Cabinet members with the right to vote – acting Prime Minister Aureliu Ciocoi and Bashkan of ATU Gagauzia Irina Vlah - came to the meeting.

The agenda included the transfer of the overdue sum of 22.46 million lei to the CEC for finishing the organization and ensuring the proper conduct of the snap parliamentary elections of this Sunday.
