PM Vasile Tarlev requested the Ministry of Economy and Commerce to conclude in short time the general report on the implementation of the Economic Growth and Poverty Reduction Strategy Paper (EGPRSP) in 2006. At the same Government meeting, First Deputy PM Zinaida Grecianyi reported about the completion of the draw-up of the National Development Plan for 2008-2011, providing the country’s development priorities. The second stage, which will last till August, includes working out the Action Plan for the implementation of the NDP. The PM emphasised the fact that NDP should include all the complexity of the present country development measures, in order to strategically plan the period after the expiry of EGPRSP and the Action Plan Moldova-EU. According to the head of the Government, the NDP should be complex, to set concrete indexes of the living standards.
