Acting Prime Minister of Moldova Gheorghe Brega sent a letter to Romanian Premier Victor Ponta by which he expresses his compassion in connection with the nightclub fire that occurred in Bucharest last night, IPN reports.
“We found out with great sadness about the incident at the Colectiv club in Bucharest, which resulted in many casualties. In these moments of sorrow, in the name of the Government of the Republic of Moldova and in my personal name, I express you our condolences and feelings of solidarity,” says the letter.
In this connection, Gheorghe Brega asked Victor Ponta to also offer condolences to the grieving families.
At least 27 people were killed and more than 140 others were injured after a fire sparked by fireworks tore through a nightclub in the Romanian capital on the night of October 30.
