Government approved the Action Plan for the 15th Anniversary of Independence
The government approved on Wednesday meeting, May 24, the Action Plan dedicated for celebrating 15 years of Independence of Moldova. Cultural-artistic actions will be held from August 22 to 27.
According to the plan, on the eve of the Independence Day there will be organized conferences, book exhibitions and performances. On 27 August, in the "Stefan cel Mare si Sfant" Public Garden will be organized the program with the slogan "Canta fanfara" /The Brass Band Plays/, performed by the best bands of the republic. The National Museum of Archeology and History of Moldova will host the thematic exhibition "Moldova and the World". In the same day, the inhabitants and guests of the capital will watch the performance "Un cântec pentru tara" (A song for the country), with the participation of the best singers and bands.
On this occasion, in August will be published the guide of public associations of Moldovans living abroad, and also organized the Festival of Ethnics „Unitate prin diversitate” (Unity through diversity).
At the same time, the program includes the broadcast of the documentary „Moldova – my country” and 10 advertisement spots about the most representative culture, history and architecture monuments of Moldova. It will be issued as well a jubilee postal stamp.
According to data of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, about 450,000 lei will be allocated to organize these events.
