Government apparatus to be reorganized
The Government’s apparatus will be transformed into the State Chancellery in a bid to improve the functional institutional framework of the institution that organizes the work of the executive, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The State Chancellery will have the status of public authority and will be headed by the Minister of State, who will be appointed and dismissed in accordance with the Constitution and the Law on the Government.
The State Chancellery’s personnel will be named and discharged by the Minister of State, who will also sign contracts with the administrators of the companies whose work is monitored by the State Chancellery.
Minister of State Victor Bodiu said that the institution’s structure and staff will be submitted for approval within 10 days. The regulations governing the work of the State Chancellery will be presented within 30 days.
According to Prime Minister Vlad Filat, the State Chancellery’s role will be important as it will coordinate the work of the offices dealing with the country’s reunification and European integration matters.
