The graduates of the faculties of the “Lower Danube” University of Galati, who are natives of the Republic of Moldova, manage to build family businesses through which they promote Moldovan products outside the country, said the dean of the Cross-Border Faculty at the “Lower Danube” University of Galati Gina Necula. During a debate hosted by IPN News Agency. She explained that this year too, the institution has a varied educational offer and the admission results were at maximum levels.

The dean of the Cross-Border Faculty of the “Lower Danube” University of Galati said that the institution provides graduates with a wide range of bachelor’s and master’s degree specializations, and thanks to the branches it has in the Republic of Moldova, Bessarabian students can also benefit from quality studies.

“Our faculty this year celebrates 25 years of its founding. We can be glad that we have written history together. In 2024, our educational offer contains 11 bachelor’s programs, 15 master’s programs in nine very varied fields, from environmental science, food engineering, law, communication sciences, economics and international business and others. We are part of everything that means the wonderful cooperation with the Republic of Moldova. That’s why the study programs are carried out in the so-called extensions in Cahul, Comrat and Chisinau. The admission results are a proof that the educational offer is interesting. This year too, the admission results were at maximum levels, as in the past 15 years,” stated Gina Necula.

She also said that the Moldovan graduates of the “Lower Danube” University start businesses, access European projects and promote their products abroad.

“Our great joy is that most of the students of our specializations and programs are employed in the Republic of Moldova or create startups, accessing European funds to promote their products abroad. Many of them have family wineries or manufacture local products and are emblematic representatives of those who guided them on their academic path. The most interesting context we created is that most of our students are students of two institutions – the institution in the Republic of Moldova and the institution in Romania. Thus, they have the opportunity to gather information, knowledge and experience from two different directions and are this obliged to be responsible for both study programs,” stated the dean of the Cross-Border Faculty.

The public debate entitled “National Congress of Romanian Historians, fourth edition, Chisinau-Suceava” was the 19th installment of the project “Double integration through cooperation and information. Continuity”, funded by the Department for Relations with the Republic of Moldova of the Government of Romania.
