The president of the Party “Building Europe at Home” (PACE) Gheorghe Cavcaliuc said the leader of the Electoral Bloc “Renato Usatîi” is a traitor who coordinates an espionage network that consists of former employees of the SIS and the Ministry of Home Affairs, for the benefit of a foreign power. The statements were made after Renato Usatîi told a news conference that Gheorghe Cavcaliuc owns an apartment in Bucharest, which he didn’t declare, IPN reports.
According to Gheorghe Cavcaliuc, Renato Ustaîi’s espionage network managed following actions and investigations concerning Moldovan officials. Renato Usatîi met with the representative of a foreign intelligence service in Dubai, where he allegedly went to get a vaccine, receiving instructions to take action in relation to important persons and against the state.
He said he wanted to test the channels through which the grouping of Renato Usatîi was provided with information by political opponents and thus he intentionally didn’t declare the apartment bought in Romania in the property statement and furnished this information to Renato Ustaîi through a right hand of this. Moreover, the database of the cadastral service of Romania was accessed illegally and Renato Ustaîi fell into this trap.
Gheorghe Cavcaliuc said the property in Romania was acquired from legal earnings and proceeds gained from selling property. The goal of Renato Usatîi is, as this states in his electoral program, to liquidate two security institutions – the SIS and the NAC – so as to destroy the archives showing that he and the members of his criminal group caused damage of hundreds of millions of lei to the state budget.
Gheorghe Cavcaliuc noted he will issue an official notice to all the interested state institutions and asked the Prosecutor’s Office and the Security and Intelligence Service to monitor the activity of the espionage network of Renato Usatîi.
