German Federal Ministry of Defence donates military camp hospital to Moldova

The Chisinau-based Central Military Clinical Hospital received a donation in the form of a military camp hospital from the Federal Ministry of Defence of Germany. It was transmitted by the German Ambassador to Moldova Nikolaus Graf Lambsdorff and by the military attache of the Federal Republic of Germany in Chisinau Joachim Franke. In a communique, the German Embassy in Moldova says that the project worth over 2 million euros was initiated in 2004. The donation includes modern medical equipment and instruments, camp operating tables, beds and different medical paraphernalia needed for a military camp hospital with 240 beds to work properly during crises or natural disasters. The donation, the second of the kind in the last two weeks, is intended to improve the quality of the medical assistance provided to military men and civilians in Moldova. It was made as part of the bilateral cooperation between the Ministries of Health and of Defence of the two states.
