The network of gas stations “Tirex Petrol” will donate 500,000 lei for alleviating the consequences of the natural calamities that struck Moldova. The money will be transferred to the account opened by the Government of Moldova for the purpose.

“We want to be near those who are in difficulty and to give them the feeling that they are not alone and abandoned in front of the serious consequences of the unfavorable weather conditions of the last few days,” the company says in a press release.

On April 21, a Chisinau-based taxi firm decided to provide free transport services in the capital city until the public transport runs as usual.
