The gas lent by Moldovagaz to Tiraspoltrangaz, in the amount of 3 million cubic meters, was not covered by the European grant. Thus, the CES provision by which Moldovagaz was authorized to lend this volume of gas remains in force and the debt owed by the left bank is to be cleared by the time limit set in the contract signed by the two companies, IPN reports.

The clarifications were made by the Government’s spokesman Daniel Vodă.

At the end of January, Moldovagaz signed a contract with Tiraspoltransgaz to lend 3 million cubic meters of natural gas. According to the acting CEO of Moldovagaz, Vadim Ceban, the volume of borrowed gas is to be returned by March 1 this year.
