The independent candidate for President Victoria Furtună says that she is not against the integration into the European Union, but, if she wins the election, she will opt for the restoration of the economic relations with all the countries, including the Russian Federation. According to the candidate, her electoral program is easy to implement in the Republic of Moldova, when there is political will. Among the actions presented by Victoria Furtună at a press conference are the granting of privileged tax residency, especially for IT companies or bloggers, and the changing of the pension system according to the model of European countries, IPN reports.
Victoria Furtună intends to put forward a legislative initiative through which the politicians who will not fulfill their electoral promises will be held criminally accountable and this measure will make the politicians act in the interests of society, not in the interests of a party, foreign countries or groups.
The independent candidate considers that, during five years, the politicians should vacation and receive treatment only in the Republic of Moldova, and their children should attend educational institutions in the country. Thus, the number of tourists will increase and reforms in the healthcare system and in the educational system will be implemented.
Victoria Furtună said that she has worked out, together with her team, a well-designed plan entitled “Furtună Industrialization Plan” through which Moldova will built 1,508 plants and factories in all the districts of the country. Also, all the citizens of the country will be assigned the “From Home” card with money and will be able to purchase everything that is produced in the Republic of Moldova with the help of this card. Thus, the plants and factories will have the opportunity to develop, and the President of the Republic of Moldova and the diplomats will literally fulfill their functional duties, bringing contracts worth millions for these factories and plants.
The independent candidate noted that she will grant privileged tax residency to people with new professions, such as internet providers, IT sector employees or bloggers. They can obtain tax residency in Moldova, pay a low tax and receive a certificate from the Tax Service, which proves the legality of the money in any country in the world. The banking system should be returned to the state as it currently “belongs to foreigners”. “We must return 50% of the banking system, we must set up a national bank through which we will have those levers and instruments through which we will decide what should be the percentage of loans granted to the citizens of the Republic of Moldova in relation to the salaries they receive,” she said.
Furthermore, Victoria Furtună intends to change the pension system by the model of Switzerland, Finland, Italy, and Israel. “Get your money back, plus the percentages accumulated while working. Then everyone will know how much money they contributed to ensuring their life after retirement. Then the pension can be inherited and, in case of death, it can be passed on to the spouse.
The independent candidate noted that she will do her best to make the representatives of future generations proud that they speak the Moldovan language and that they are Moldovans. “For 30 years, our history has been stolen. In schools, our children studied the history of Romanians. Recently, our language has also been taken away. We already have the Romanian language, not the Moldovan language. Now what is the situation? It is an attack on our religion and faith. All the conditions and preconditions are in place for us to disappear as a state,” stated Victoria Furtună.
“Come to the polls on October 20, vote for the dove of peace, vote for Victoria Furtună and you will see that in our country it is possible to live well, quietly, in peace,” said the candidate, addressing the citizens.
Victoria Furtună is under No. 9 on the ballot for the October 20 presidential election.
