Fugitive Platon attacks Moldovans who booed him in London

The fugitive convict Veaceslav Platon commented on the incident near a polling station in London, where he was booed by voters waiting in line to vote. Platon wrote on his Facebook page that, after a five-minute conversation with the London police, who were alerted by someone from the crowd, he received words of encouragement and was escorted to the polling station without needing to wait in line, reports IPN.

Veaceslav Platon stated that he engaged in a heated conversation with several "zombie representatives" of the government and that the situation reminded him of "the Germans' love for Führer Hitler until he sent the entire male population of Germany through the meat grinder of war." He also mentioned that those who verbally attacked him were dissatisfied with having to work in construction, while he leads the life of a banker. In conclusion, the fugitive convict wrote that "we need to work with people every day, not just during election campaigns."

Veaceslav Platon was found guilty of creating and leading a criminal organization, as well as of withdrawing over 126 billion rubles from Russia through the Moldovan bank Moldindconbank. Recently, it was announced that he is involved in a criminal case in the Russian Federation, accused of illegally transferring 48 billion rubles out of the country through the "Laundromat" scheme. Several experts have written that the fugitive oligarch Veaceslav Platon spent thousands of euros on Facebook promotion, with the main goal of these sponsored campaigns being to sow panic in society and discredit the process of European integration in the Republic of Moldova.
