A liter of gasoline COR 95 during May 4-7 will cost at most 26.17 lei, by 0.08 lei less than today, while a liter of standard diesel fuel will be sold for 21.23 lei/liter, by 0.05 lei less. The National Agency for Energy Regulation said that after a period of decline in the price of diesel fuel, this week the retail price of gasoline also started to decrease at filling stations, IPN reports.

The price of diesel fuel has steadily decreased since mid-April, the decrease totaling 1.09 lei/liter. The price of gasoline declined by 0.23 lei/liter over the last three days alone.

In the Republic of Moldova, the level of prices for petroleum products depends on the developments on the international market. Both increases and decreases in trading prices for gasoline and diesel fuel are correlated with the level of Platts quotations for these products.
