The independent candidate for the office of President of the Republic of Moldova Tudor Ulyanovski aims to build a “normal Moldova” in which the freedom of speech will be guaranteed. According to the candidate, “the press will not be subjugated to political interests, as it is now,” IPN reports.
Tudor Ulyanovski said the problem of politically biased journalists, who “denigrate presidential candidates, favoring those in power, cannot be ignored as this is not democracy, but a dangerous slide into dictatorship.”
The candidate urges the citizens to vote on Sunday “for a normal Moldova in which every person will have the right to speak freely, and the press to do its job, to inform correctly and without fear.”
On the ballot paper for the October 20 presidential election, Tudor Ulyanovski is under No. 10.
October 18 is the last day of political campaigning in the Republic of Moldova.
