Former SIS head accuses brother of Lib-Dem MP of being a criminal authority
The former SIS director, Communist MP Artur Resetnicov, claims he heard that the brother of Liberal-Democrat MP Iurie Chiorescu is a criminal authority. The declaration was made in the context of PCRM’s repeated demand for the Prosecutor General to be heard in the Parliament, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Several PCRM MPs used the time allotted for suggestions and demanded the hearing of the Prosecutor General. They explained that they wanted to know more about the course of investigations since April 7, 2009.
MP Iurie Chiorescu answered that if the Prosecutor General is to be heard by the parliamentarians, he should also report about the kidnapping of Artur Resetnicov in 2010.
“Mister Chiorescu, I heard there is a criminal boss in Moldova also named Chiorescu. People say he is your brother. That’s why you don’t want the Prosecutor General to be heart. I want to learn the biography of your brother”, replied Artur Resetnicov.
Liberal MP Valeriu Munteanu is curios why Resetnicov is so reluctant about the Prosecutor speaking about his kidnapping.
The PCRM group also demanded the hearing of the heads of the Court of Accounts, of the Security and Intelligence Service and of Prime Minister Vlad Filat. The Communists say they learned that the head of the Government used public cars and money for his party duties.
