Deputy Prime Minister Nicu Popescu, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, is making a working visit to Germany during March 27-29. While in Berlin, the Moldovan official will meet with Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs Annalena Baerbock, IPN reports.

Deputy Premier Popescu will also have meetings with a number of German officials and these will center on Moldova’s entry into the EU and the holding of the second European Political Community Summit in Chisinau in June.

Last week, Nicu Popescu visited Brussels where he took part in the second EU-Republic of Moldova High-Level Political and Security Dialogue.
