The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova said that during the 200 days of Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine, thousands of innocent civilians were cruelly killed. In a statement issued after the Kharkov attacks, the Ministry notes that all those to blame should be held accountable for their actions in accordance with international law, IPN reports.
“The civil population continues to sustain great losses in this war, also as a result of the recent absolutely unjustified attacks on civilian infrastructure in Kharkov, which left several regions in the neighboring country without electricity,” runs the statement.
The Ministry said that such barbarous behavior, which fully despises the lives of civilians, should be stopped immediately.
large parts of eastern Ukraine experienced blackouts following Russian airstrikes. The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky on Sunday evening said that Russia is responsible for the power outages in eastern Ukraine and accused Moscow of deliberately attacking civilian infrastructure.
