On the last day of submissions, five political parties asked the Central Electoral Commission to be registered as campaigners for the October 20 constitutional referendum. Four of them intend to advocate for European integration, and the other one will campaign against.
Supporting European integration will be the NOI Party, the National Reunification Party ACASA, the European Social Democratic Party, and the People’s Will Party, as Victory Party will join camp “no”.
The CEC now has 3 days to decide on the registration.
To date, the CEC has cleared 10 political parties to campaign for the referendum, with only two of them campaigning against European integration.
Meanwhile, successfully registered presidential candidates today were officially allowed to launch their campaigns.
