Five parties have incomplete lists of candidates
Five of the parties participating in the parliamentary elections on November 28 have fewer than 101 candidates (the number of deputies in Parliament) on their lists.
Political analyst Arcadie Barbarosie has told Info-Prim Neo these parties acknowledge they won’t get that much votes to need more candidates to assume the deputy mandates.
The Electoral Code stipulates that parties participating in elections must present lists of at least 52 candidates or at most 103.
The following parties have incomplete lists: “Moldova Unita” Party (94), the Republican People’s Party (94), the Social-Political Movement “Ravnopravie” (82), the Conservative Party (70) and the Labor Party (55).
