Five men from the capital, between 47 and 55 years old, died suddenly on Monday. Only one of them died because of alcohol abuse, the others suffered cardio-vascular accidents. The doctor-coordinator of the Emergency Service Hospital of the capital, Evelina Rusu, said that one of these men complained for 2 days of heart pains, but did not call for any help, the other fell in the street, the third entered the car and died, the fourth, of 47 years old, had convulsions for the first time and died until the ambulance arrived. Other two men were hospitalized in very serious situation after tasting some liquid from a wine bottle, found on Drumul Viilor. Very soon, one of them fell in come, the other – suffered of serious intoxication. Both men were hospitalized in toxicology section of the Emergency Hospital. A girl of 17 years old was hospitalized, not for the first time, with drug overdose. The doctors of the Mother and Child Center noted she is a “familiar” patient. Yesterday the Emergency Service of the capital answered to 699 calls, including in 47 traumatism cases, 100 infection cases and 2 flu cases, 3 vascular accidents and 2-myocardial strokes.
