Fiscal revenues went up 60% in Chisinau

Tax payers of the municipality of Chisinau transferred about MDL 598.8 mln to the National Public Budget in January, by MDL 237 mln more compared with the revenues of the same period of last year, or by 65% more. Procopie Duca, head of Chisinau Fiscal Inspectorate told Info-Prim Neo that the increase is due to some relevant facts such as the payment of MDL 60 mln by “Moldtelecom” JSC for the CDMA licence. According to him, the higher revenues result from the actions undertaken last year, such as better booking of deliveries, creation of fiscal offices, resealing of the cash registers, change of the fiscal invoices, actions undertaken to find out ghost-companies. The state budget registered revenues to the total sum of MDL 280.5 mln, by MDL 135 mln or by 93.7% more. In what concerns the VAT, revenues equalled MDL 134.5 mln, by over 24% more; about MDL 12.4 – from excises, by 71% more, the revenues from the income tax – MDL 47.5 mln, by 380% more. The local budget registered revenues of MDL 132.6 mln, by MDL 61.6 mln or 86.8% more. About MDL 159 mln were transferred to the social insurances budget, by MDL 6 mln or 10% more. The revenues constituted about MDL 26 mln at the compulsory medical insurances fund, by MDL 6.5 mln or 32.4% more.
