The fire that occurred at the glass painting workshop in Râșcani district of Chisinau could have been caused by a short circuit. This is one of the versions formulated by the General Inspectorate for Emergencies. Arson is yet not excluded, IPN reports.
The violation of rules in the technological process is another investigated version.
The final cause will be presented in a report when all the circumstances are elucidated.
Ten firefighting vehicles struggled to extinguish the fire at the glass painting workshop situated on the first floor of the Mezon factory on Moscova Blvd. Highly flammable objects were inside the storehouse and the fire could have spread swiftly. An area of about 200 square meters was destroyed. No one was hurt.
