First ten candidates for Chisinau mayor were given identity cards
The Chisinau District Election Council (CECMC) offered identity cards on April 23 to 10 candidates running for Chisinau Mayor, who were registered until this date.
CECMC registered on Friday, as candidates the following persons: Veaceslav Iordan, the candidate of the Party of Communists; Ion Mereuta, Humanist Party; Leonid Bujor, supported by “Moldova Noastra” Alliance; Vladimir Filat on behalf of the Democrat Party; Dorin Chirtoaca, the candidate of the Liberal Party, Zinaida Zorin, supported by the Conservative Party, Alexandru Corduneanu, People’s Christian Democrat Party; Valentin Krylov, Electoral Bloc “Patria-Rodina-Ravnopravie”; Eduard Musuc, on behalf of the Social Democrat Party and Corneliu Ciurea, supported by the Social Liberal Party.
Vitalia Pavlicenco submitted the application on behalf of the National Liberal Party, but it was not registered yet.
Also today, CECMC approved a plan of actions and created the District Election Councils of first degree and those 18 constituencies of the municipality of Chisinau.
Local elections will take place on June 3.
