The first lesson on September 1 in the 2022-2023 year of study at all the general educational institutions will be devoted to the Year of Gratitude to the heroes killed in the war for defending the integrity and independence of the Republic of Moldova.

Viorica Pistrui, consultant of the Press Service of the Ministry of Education and Research, has told IPN that according to a circular issued by the Ministry based on a Government decision, the traditional school year start festivities will be held on September 1, starting at 8:30pm. The first and only lesson that day will last for at most 45minutes.

The festivities will begin with the honoring of the state symbols of the Republic of Moldova.
