The fire that started on the roof of a building located on Columna St, where two private TV channels have their head offices, has been localized. The firefighters struggled to contain it for over an hour.

Press officer of the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service Diana Turcan has told IPN’s reporter that seven firefighting vehicles went to the scene because there were several smaller fires.

Over 200 square meters of the roof were damaged. The cause of fire is yet to be established. Nobody in the building was hurt.
