The Parliament of Finland welcomes Moldova’s aspirations as concerns the European integration, expressing its willingness to share its 11-year experience as a member of EU. Within the frameworks of his visit to Finland, the Moldovan PM Vasile Tarlev met with a series of officials from the Parliament of Finland. In light of the implementation of Moldova-EU Action Plan, the PM emphasized upon the opportunity of starting an experience exchange in the field of European integration. Tarlev mentioned that Moldova is grateful to Finland for the support offered at the meeting of the Justice and Internal Affairs Council on October 5-6, in light of obtaining the decision of member countries to offer to the European Commission the mandate for starting talks with Moldova regarding the facilitation of the visa regime. As well, the prime minister highly appreciated the activity of the EU Border Assistance Mission at the Moldovan-Ukrainian border (EUBAM), which has 6 Finish experts engaged.
