The veterans and invalids of World War II will receive lump sums of 10,000 lei in financial assistance. The money is provided by the Chisinau City Hall on the occasion of the Victory Day marked on May 9, IPN reports.

According to the City Hall’s press service, 305 persons from the municipality of Chisinau – war participants and invalids – will get such a lump sum.

Also, 310 persons related to participants in World War II will receive by 5,000 lei in financial support, while 325 persons – unable to work husbands or wives of participants in the war who were killed in battle or of persons who remained with disabilities as a result of the war – will get by 1,000 lei.

The money can be collected by those who are entitled to it based on the identity card, or by other persons based on the power of attorney, from the branches of Moldindconbank starting with May 6, 2016.
