The reality may require the modification of the AIE constituting agreement, as the Alliance’s goal is to solve people’s problems and ensure development perspectives. The statement was made by Vlad Filat at the Government meeting on Wednesday, August 10, Info-Prim Neo reports. “If it is required to periodically revise and adjust certain situations in the AIE, things must be done because otherwise we’ll get stuck in useless discussion and dreams that become more and more unachievable for some”, declared the Prime Minister and PLDM leader. Vlad Filat is worried that Speaker Marian Lupu, who is interim President as well, speaks about a decision of the Constitutional Court regarding the election of the head of the state as if he already knows the outcome, although the decision is to be announced in October. “The decisions of the Constitutional Court must be objective, without political influences. I want to make it clear and I hope Marian Lupu hears me: we don’t wait for the decision of the Constitutional Court because we won’t participate by any means in the amendment of the Constitution through organic law. I’ve already said it and I reiterate we will strictly respect the norms and spirit of the Constitution and won’t participate in this adventure”, said Vlad Filat. “Perhaps it’s time to talk about what kind of President Moldova needs, not only that somebody wants to become President because of agreement signed when the Alliance formed”, added the PLDM leader.
