Filat says Deputy Minister Turcanu and director Railean should leave posts
Prime Minister Vlad Filat considers that Deputy Minister of Health Gheorghe Turcanu and the director of IS “Registru” Sergiu Railean should suspend themselves from posts. The Premier made related statements after the February 5 hearing held by the parliamentary commission of inquiry into the December 23 tragic hunting incident in the Domneasca Forest, Info-Prim Neo reports.
“It would be right so that there is no suspicion and this problem that is false, to my mind. They should leave their posts for the period of the investigation and take a final decision, depending on the result,” said Vlad Filat.
He also said that he found out about the incident in the Domneasca Forest on January 6, from the Government’s press service.
Today, February 5, the commission will also question Dorin Chirtoaca, Mihai Ghimpu, and Vlad Plahotniuc. Marian Lupu will be questioned on February 9.
