FC Noroc, Moldovan champions at women’s football, lost their first game in this season of the Champions League. The Nimoreni-based team was thrashed 0-4 by Sturm Graz, IPN reports.
Noroc conceded all four goals in the second half, as Katharina Naschenweng and Julia Kofler scored a brace each. In the other game of the group, Apollon from Cyprus crushed Bulgaria’s NSA Sofia 4-0.
On August 25, the girls coached by Evghenia Miron will travel to Cyprus to take on Apollon.
