The Integrity Council extended the deadline for submitting applications for taking part in the contest to choose the new administration of the National Integrity Authority until May 15 this year. The decision was taken in an extraordinary meeting of the Integrity Council following the expiration of the contest deadline, IPN reports.
According to the announcement published in the Official Gazette and on the official website of the National Integrity Authority, submissions had been accepted between April 10 and May 3 and four candidates filed applications to the Integrity Council’s secretariat only on the last day. Based on the Law on the National Integrity Authority, the Integrity Council decided to extend the contest by prolonging the deadline until May 15, 2017.
