The Government endorsed the plan of action for 2014-2015 for implementing the National Anticorruption Strategy. The plan includes over 90 measures – 14 permanent and 79 with a definite implementation term, IPN reports.
In order to implement the research component, there will be conducted, presented and published surveys on the spread of corruption and made a number of studies and reports.
The prevention and combating of corruption in institutions and organizations and improvement of the work of the inspection bodies represent measures of the institutional component. The cultivation of intolerance of corruption, encouragement of the fight against it and cooperation of the public authorities with civil society and the mass media are actions stipulated in the education and public communication component.
The legislative component includes the adjustment of the national legislation to the international anticorruption standards and improvement of the functioning mechanisms, including parliamentary control.
The National Anticorruption Strategy for 2011-2015 was adopted by a Parliament decision.
