A yellow code warning for exceptional danger of fire in wooded strips and crop fields was issued for the central and southern districts for September 3-9, IPN reports.

According to the State Hydrometeorological Service, daytime temperatures this weekend will oscillate between +26 and +33°C, while nighttime temperatures – between +11 and +18°C. The temperatures at the start of the next week will vary between +28 and +33°C. There will be no precipitation.

Rain is forecast for September 7, but only in northern and central Moldova. In the second half of the week, the temperatures will decrease to +23 - +28°C.
