Ex-Anti-Corruption Squad chief appointed as presidential advisor for financial matters
Sergiu Puscuta has become a presidential counselor for financial affairs, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The appointment decree was signed by President Vladimir Voronin on Tursday, December 30, reads a press release by the presidential press service.
Earlier, Sergiu Puscuta was the head of the Economic Crimes and Corruption Combating Center (ECCCC), and he resigned on November 19. He was appointed to head the squad last April, after he was the main tax inspector of Moldova.
