The application that will contain the IDs of Moldovan citizens in electronic form will be called EVO.  Through the agency of this application, the population will be able to ask for all kinds of extracts and certificates and to file petitions, IPN reports.

“You voted and chose! I thank you, dear citizens! Together we managed to pick a wonderful and significant name for our application that will help us to work much easier and more efficiently. This brings us close to the end result,” said Deputy Prime Minister Dumitru Alaiba, Minister of Economic Development and Digitization.

According to him, the first version of the application will be launched for users in several months. The creation of this application, which will be similar to the Ukrainian application “Diia”, will change the citizens’ and entrepreneurs’ attitude to the state.
