European experts to examine the implementation extent of the democratic reforms support project

Experts from Moldova and of the Council of Europe will examine the implementation extent of the Joint Program between the European Commission and the Council of Europe regarding the democratic reforms in Moldova during 2004-2006. According to a press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration (MFAEI), June 13, at the Republic’s Palace in Chisinau will take place the 2nd meeting of the coordinating Committee, European Commission - Council of Europe – Moldova regarding the implementation of the joint program on supporting democratic reforms in the Republic of Moldova during 2004 – 2006. According to the quoted source, within the reunion it is expected an exchange of opinions between the Moldovan and European experts regarding the modalities of ensuring the implementation of the plan. At the same time, the perspectives of expanding the program for the Republic of Moldova will be discussed. On the behalf of Moldova, at the present edition of the Coordinating Council experts and heads of the central public administration, involved in the implementation process of this program will participate. The Delegation of the Council of Europe, leaded by Andreas Siegel, and the European Commission will be represented by the ambassador Cesare De Montis, the head of CoE in Chisinau.
