European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos starts today her first two-day working visit to the Republic of Moldova, IPN reports.

During the visit, the EU Commissioner will meet President Maia Sandu and Prime Minister Dorin Recean. Later, a press conference on the EU assistance package to help Moldova overcome the energy crisis will be planned.

Meetings are also planned with Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu, Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization Dumitru Alaiba and Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov.

Discussions will cover the €1.8 billion Growth Plan and Moldova's European integration process.
