The Cabinet prolonged the program “EU Action” until next March. The relevant decision provides that negotiations will be initiated on the Addendum to the financing agreement between the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the European Union on the development of rural areas in the Republic of Moldova, which was signed on July 21, 2017, IPN reports.
“By now, we have implemented 16 projects of the 18 planned to be carried out within the EU Action. The implementation of the last two projects to improve energy efficiency at the Theoretical Lyceum “Dimitrie Cantemir” in the municipality of Balti and at the Theoretical Lyceum “Alexei Mateevici” in Șoldănești town requires more time,” said Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development Andrei Spînu.
The EU and the Government of Germany agreed to extend without costs the implementation period of the EU Action until March 31, 2024.
