The Moldovan Customs Service will have a Code of Ethics adjusted to international integrity standards, under a Government decision adopted Wednesday. The document sets out the fundamental principles of ethics, the requirements for professional conduct and internal discipline within the Service, IPN reports.
The Code was developed in cooperation with the National Anticorruption Center and the EU Border Assistance Mission, and with methodological support from the World Customs Organization.
In line with its ongoing reform, the Customs Service promotes professional integrity, adopting a zero-tolerance policy towards corruption.
