EP to adopt resolution on situation in Moldova next week
The European Parliament (EP) next week will adopt a resolution on the situation in Moldova. The resolution was included in the agenda of the next plenary session of the EP set to take place between May 4 and 7, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The resolution on the situation in Moldova will be put to the vote on May 7, starting at 12.00, Strasbourg time. The MEPs can submit proposals linked to the resolution by April 30, while amendments and joint resolution drafts by May 5.
The political crisis in Moldova was discussed by the EP on April 23. In their speeches, the MEPs from all the groups expressed their concern and condemned the violations of human rights committed in Moldova after April 5. A number of European MPs demanded that they adopt a resolution to condemn the acts by the Moldovan government.
