The Embassy of Poland in Chisinau invites the music lovers to a concert staged in cooperation with the Warsaw Institute “Adam Mickiewicz” and the Polish Institute in Bucharest. The symphonic concert of Polish music and not only will take place at the National Philharmonic “Sergey Lunkevich” in Chisinau on October 7, starting at 6pm, IPN reports.
The Orchestra of the Academy of Theater, Music and Plastic Arts will be directed by Pawel Kotla, conductor of the London Symphony Orchestra, London Mozart Players, Orquestra Sinfônica do Estado de São Paulo and other orchestras renowned in Poland and abroad, including the Warsaw Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra and the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice.
The soloists are the artists of “Cracovia Duo” – Jan Kalinowski (violoncello) and Marek Szlezer (piano), who won numerous awards at international music festivals.
The program also includes: Górecki – Three pieces in old style, Lutosławski – Little Suite, Chopin – Piano Concerto No. 2 in F minor, while after the entr’acte: Schubert – The Unfinished Symphony, and Piazzola – Double Concerto.
