The amount of electricity needed by consumers on the right bank of the Nistru is fully ensured for Thursday, January 23. According to the information provided by the Crisis Cell, no emergency supply contracts or unintentional power flows will be necessary, IPN reports.
About 63 percent of the electricity is imported from Romania, the authorities informed.
Meanwhile, on the left bank of the Nistru, scheduled daily power cuts lasting for 5 hours each continue. On Wednesday, January 22, the electricity consumption in the Transnistrian region amounted to 4,258,000 kWh and the demand was satisfied with power produced by the Kuchurgan power plant, the Dubăsari hydropower plant and from the technological flow.
