Romania's Central Electoral Bureau will determine on Saturday the order in which candidates will appear on the ballot for the presidential elections on May 4, IPN reports.

The draw will take place at 13:00 at the CEB headquarters in Bucharest.

Eleven candidates are registered in the presidential race. On Thursday, the Central Electoral Bureau confirmed the final list of candidates for the Romanian presidential elections in May.

The first round will be held on May 4, and if no candidate secures a majority of votes, a second round will be organized on May 18 between the top two candidates with the most votes.

In the diaspora, Romanians can vote over three days, on May 2, 3, and 4. For the first time, Romanian citizens will no longer be able to vote on election Sunday until 21:00 local time, as was previously the case.
