Eight teams to compete in new National Division season

The executive committee of the Moldovan Football Federation decided that the new season of the National Division will involve eight teams following Dacia Chisinau’s withdrawal from the championship, IPN reports.

Spicul Chiscareni, which received a national license even if it was relegated to the second league, will not compete in the new National Division season as well.

The eight teams are: Sheriff, Milsami, Petrocub-Hancesti, Zaria, Speranta, Sfantul Gheorghe, Zimbru, and Dinamo-Auto.

The draw to set the matches will be held at the head office of the Moldovan Football Federation on March 19, stating at 11am. The new season starts on April 1.
