Educational Advising Center announces 2016 Merit Scholarship Program

The best students of the country will receive 50 stipends of 12,000 lei each within the Merit Scholarship Program 2016, 21st edition, provided with the support of the Educational Advising Center. The program is organized under the aegis of the Council of Chancellors of Moldova, with the financial support of BC Moldova Agroindbank SA and Orange Moldova, IPN reports.

In a press release, the Educational Advising Center says 35 stipends for last year undergraduate students and 15 stipends for first year graduate students, including last year integrated studies, will be offered within the program on a contest basis. These must be involved in full-time education.

The applicants must have good academic standing with an average grade for all the years of studies of minimum 9 for social-humanistic sciences, 8.5 for exact, technical and medical-biological sciences and 8 in the case of students with disabilities and/or orphans.

Participation in curricular and extracurricular activities is a mandatory requirement.
