The return home of the president of the Political Party “Our Party” (PPPN) Renato Usatyi depends on the people’s vote. The vice president of “Our Party” Dumitru Chubashenko, who runs in constituency No. 28 Chisinau municipality, said the people’s vote will bring candidates of the PPPN to the legislative body and these will have instruments and will look for solutions to the criminal cases started against Renato Usatyi, IPN reports.

“Each vote for the candidates of the Political Party “Our Party” is a vote for the return of Renato Usatui home. It is a vote for restoring justice as he was wronged,” Dumitru Chubashenko stated in the talk show “Candidate” on the TVC21 channel.

According to him, after the party forms a parliamentary group in the next legislature, these MPs will demand by legal ways that the police, the Prosecutor General’s Office and the Ministry of the Interior should account for the criminal cases started against Renato Usatyi and explain why none of these cases was sent to court.

Dumitru Chubashenko said these two instruments – the people’s vote and the formation of groups in Parliament – will enable the leader of the PPPN to return to the Republic of Moldova.

He noted the costs incurred by the party in the current campaign are very modest and the party’s leader Renato Usatyi does not help the PPPN financially.

The leader of “Our Party” Renato Usatyi, ex-mayor of Balti town, has stayed in Moscow since 2016, after he was put on the wanted list. He is accused of attempt to murder former banker German Gorbuntsov. Usatyi denies the accusations.
